Parto is operated by Dmytro Tkachuk, a sole proprietor in Ontario, Canada. These Terms apply to your use of the Parto service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Using Parto
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. Where the law requires permission from a parent or guardian to enter this agreement, you must obtain that permission.
Parto helps you split shared expenses, follow your balances and record payments made outside the app. It does not transfer money, provide banking services or collect debts. You and the other participants are responsible for reviewing expense information and resolving disagreements about what is owed or paid.
Your account and content
Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in details secure. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Only share information and content you have the right to share. Do not use Parto for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, impersonation, spam or interference with the service or another person's account.
You retain ownership of your content. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to operate Parto and share it with the relevant participants, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Parto Pro
Parto Pro is an optional monthly or annual subscription. Features, price and billing period are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings. Follow the cancellation instructions and deadlines shown by Apple to avoid the next renewal.
Apple handles App Store billing, subscription management and refund requests under its applicable terms. Deleting Parto or your Parto account does not cancel a subscription. This section does not limit any refund or other rights you have under applicable law.
Availability and account closure
We work to keep Parto useful and available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of information entered by participants. To the extent permitted by law, Parto is provided as available and without warranties beyond those required by law.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address serious misuse, protect users or the service, or comply with law. You can request account deletion in the app or contact support for help. Shared records and certain other information may remain as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Responsibility and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Parto. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, guarantees or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
These service Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to mandatory protections available to you where you live. The license for the iOS app is separately governed by Apple's Standard EULA.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as Parto changes. We will post the revised Terms with their effective date and provide notice of material changes and any consent required by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
